In the small refurbishment of this town house the aim of our project was to make the most of every inch of space where a modern kitchen could be placed within pre-existing classical surroundings. The vintage look of “District Route” tiles from Lea Ceramiche used for the walls draws attention to the marble flooring retrieved from an old farmhouse which elegantly matches the restored wooden flooring. This blend of materials creates an excellent merging with the clean lines of the modern kitchen, thereby creating a sophisticated atmosphere in the living area as a whole.
